Monolith Sustainable Printing Practices with Jakprints
The majority of the printing for the 2008 Monolith Festival is provided by our partner, Jakprints. In addition to providing state of the art full-color offset printing, they have been long-time advocate for sustainable printing practices. Jakprints is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council; is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Jakprints is also certified by The Rainforest Alliance ; who works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior.
Monolith and Jakprints are committed to using eco-friendly alternatives. 90% of Monolith Festival promotional materials are printed using soy & vegetable based inks and paper stocks made with a minimum of 30% recycled content.
